Bittersweet

Yes, I know that Grey Wardens having children is practically impossible because of the Taint...but...what if it DID happen for Anders? It would be a bittersweet sort of thing, because they would be happy to have a child, yet worried because of the chaos in the world around them. Lyra decided they would return to Ferelden to help Alistair deal with the Orlesians, and the Chantry is falling apart, so their child will be born into a very unstable climate indeed. It makes moments like this...very precious. Thank goodness for Alistair's tendency to keep mages out of the Circle when he can.
