My dad's in a moving frenzy...again. If anyone checks the news for the USA, they'll know that Obama has imposed a lot of new building regulations. And if my family wants to sell this house, we need to sell it before these regulations are put into effect. It would cost way too much to put in all energy-efficient windows, doors, and insulation, and DEFINITELY too much to put in a plug for an electric car. My house was built in the 1970s, and is a custom-built house, designed by the owner to show off what he could do with a house, since he was a building contractor. Therefore, it has high, sweeping ceilings in some areas, LOTS of windows, and great open spaces. Oh, and there's a four-car garage/workshop that's set apart from the house. So we're just going to finish re-painting, packing, cleaning up the yards ('cuz our neighbours' stuff keeps growing into them), and re-doing the carpeting in my room.

What does this have to do with a hiatus? Well, I'm going to hide my art journals and folders and my colouring materials in an effort to keep them with me during the school year. That means, sadly, that I have to halt my current projects. I'll TRY to finish them like crazy tomorrow, when both of my parents are gone. And I'll try to come on more often to talk to you guys. 'Cuz you're all amazing people, and fun to talk to.
